The shire was once breathtaking before Sauron destroyed it. Frodo was to blame when he lost The Ring to one of his several servants and not too long after, there was so much death and destruction and when Sauron heard that the reason he couldn't have his ring for so long was the hobbits he made it his mission to wipe them out.
Sauron did exactly what he planned to but it wasn't just hobbits that got whipped out it was also the shire. All I remember from that day was that just before they got to The Shire there were ashes falling from the sky and then BOOM, I awoke from under the rubble. I realized soon after that I was one of the lucky ones, because I made it out. Enough about the war though you came for what The Shire used to look like.
The Shire was beautiful, Filled with joy and colour, but most importantly it was home to the hobbits, Which I am one of,and we all live in home that were in the ground but not all the way because we had window, circular doors and small but beautiful gardens filled with: dandelions, roses, violets and more. The most spectacular thing wasn't the homes or the hobbits that lived there; it was the land. There was a river that ran through and was
